Job Description
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing excellent customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong organisational skills, proficiency in office software, and a welcoming phone etiquette to ensure a positive experience for all who interact with our organisation.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors in a warm and professional manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls, ensuring effective communication.
- Manage the reception area, maintaining a tidy and welcoming environment.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently using computerised systems.
- Assist with clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
- Handle correspondence and maintain office supplies inventory.
- Assist with ad hoc tasks as required by partners or senior staff.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role (desirable but not essential).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- A basic understanding of computerised systems, including Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Good phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to communicate professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Attention to detail in data entry and clerical tasks.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and assisting team members as required.

Bookkeeper
Job description
We require an experienced Bookkeeper on a full time, or part time basis.
We are looking for someone to work well within our existing small team, that is able to provide a high level bookkeeping service for our clients.
Responsibilities
Your job duties will include preparing accounts to trial balance, double entry bookkeeping, assisting with the preparation of statutory & management accounts and preparing VAT returns using a variety of accounting systems including QuickBooks, Sage & Xero.
Qualifications
You will have previous experience of working in a small or medium sized accountancy practice, have excellent IT and communication skills, and possess a friendly and professional demeanour.
Existing experience of using cloud based accounting software (ideally QuickBooks) is essential.

Senior Accountant/Tax Manager
Job description
We require a high level senior accountant/tax manager ideally on a part time basis (possibly full time dependant on individuals circumstances)
We are looking for someone that can manage themselves and their own portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities
Your job duties will include preparing/finalising accounts and associated tax returns, VAT submissions, dealing with all client queries and other ad hoc work as required.
Qualifications
You will be a fully qualified accountant/tax accountant (or qualified by experience) and will have spent many years working in practice, managing your own pool of clients.
